John 17:20-23
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.”
Lord Jesus, first I want to say that I agree with your prayer here in John 17. I’m deeply challenged that your desire for us is to experience the same unity you experience within the Trinity. Lord, as we make adjustments to become more and more “one work” across the US, may you pour out your glory and power to enable us to go to beautiful places of unity far beyond anything we have experienced before. And may you receive all the glory for our unity. Lord, would you form our reputation to be one of oneness and unity. May the world see our unity and be drawn into your kingdom. May it be so, Lord, according to your own High Priestly prayer.
